Part 4 of Degradeads international blog – the new drummer will soon be official

Hello everybody, this is Mike reporting to you after one week of ”blog-vacation”.

Right now there´s a lot of things happening (as usual), but it´s all going really well.
We are starting to write on our new material individually at first. Soon it’s time to start writing together and that is where the real magic happens! Me, myself have been recording the demo song and humming a bit, trying to get the right feeling of the songs I´ve written myself. We continuously keep on posting video clips, and a tour diary, so keep an eye open for these!

How did the drum-auditions go? I´m sure you all want to know.

We have actually found two great guys that are coming back to us this week, and our goal is to decide who it´s going to be then. It is amazing how they both can have such a fantastic personal chemistry and be great musicians at the same time. I think we got pretty lucky there! Both of the guys have what we are looking for in a drummer, so we have pretty good conditions right now. It went better than we could have hoped for.

The summer is coming to an end and it is now the real work begins. We got a bit held back in the lack of a drummer but this is resolving itself pretty soon. The things we are looking forward to right now is playing and rehearsing real hard with the new drummer.
We are soon going to announce our new drummer!

In the fall there´s also many other exciting things happening, such as the Killfest tour, which we have planned a lot for. Another thing is the Rockbitch boat, and we are probably going to visit Russia again! This is going to be great! All of the guys in the band love Russia because we always get such a warming welcome from our fans there, it is a nice country and the fans are totally devoted to our music. You gotta love it!
